My name is Matthew McConnell. I am 27 years old, and I am from the country of Northern Ireland. I grew up in the beautiful countryside in a small village called Annalong surrounded by the amazing Mountains of Mourne .

I like to spend most of time outdoors and going travelling to discover new parts of the world. I have spent time living in in Northern Ireland, England, America for two summers and I recently re-located to Melbourne Australia for the next few years to pursue and continue my career as a teacher.

Back in 2016, I decided to peruse a course at the University of Ulster in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, studying a Batchelors degree in Journalism with Education where I began to study a variety of texts and literature, which led to my overall interest in writing and production. Having adored my course studying Journalism with Education I decided to embark on a Post Graduate Certificate of Education to allow me to become a teacher full time where I studied at the University of Chester in England.
